Yes! Here are the pictures from our fabulous adventures in a cat cafe called ハピ猫 (Happy Cat). Be ready for adorableness! Or your worst nightmare, in the case of mother dear.
Ew, its a ginger cat.
Awww~
AWWW~!!
Blurry Brenna, me, and Ayako!
♥♥♥
Me and an adorable cat~
Brenna and adorable cats~
Ayako bought some cat treats that were available there, and suddenly became very popular!
Ayako and adorable cats~
I stole KC's camera and took this one!
I think we may have come at nap time...
This cat's name was Puri-Hime (Princess Puri, no I don't know what Puri is...), and obviously she has a princess-complex. Why won't you turn around??
Anyway, that was my adventures in Happy Cat! It was adorable, but a little expensive. About 1500 yen for an iced green tea latte and 30 minutes with cats. I am totally going again!!
Tomorrow morning I'll post pictures from my trip to the Tokyo Edo museum!
Oh shoot wait, I forgot, recent purchases! Here we go~
The shirt (with suspenders!) and cardigan I got from Zara~
The pajama sweater I got on... Monday? Yeah, Monday. Note the adorable bows on the pockets! There is also...
A bow on the hood!
And this coat!
And also! Two small amusing things from this last week. Well, one amusing, and one TERRIFYING.
Amusing: On Wednesday, I gave my presentation in Japanese class about music! Afterwards we chatted with our Professor about what kinds of music we like. Turns out, she's a huge Eagles fan and is going to bring her favorite Eagles concert DVD for us to watch during lunch break sometime. Awesome.
Terrifying: That same day upon returning to our home-train-station, we were heading out of the station... and by we I mean Emily and I... and coming towards us... A GIANT SEA OF CHILDREN. All young and chattering and wearing matching white hats. It was awful. I made the best face that I imagine looked something along the lines of:
Yeah. Awful. AW. FUL.
Tomorrow Emily and I are heading to Yokohama to meet up with Yuki and Maki!! My conversation from last year and Kelli's conversation partner from last year. Sadly, Kelli has other plans so she can't come. But still, it'll be lots of fun!!
Well I'm off to pack, I leave for my host family's house on Sunday!!
1. You best shut the front door about your "Ew, Ginger cat," nonsense. My cat is ginger and he's awesome!
ReplyDelete2. That cat in the bowl was adorable!!! Did you know that my GINGER cat likes to sleep in the bathroom sink? :P
3. How do they keep the cat cafe not stinky? So many cats together usually = stinky.
4. When do you think you'll be bored with that coat, and do you think it would fit me? O:-)
5. I didn't know you were such a kid hater! I'm gonna tell Olivia. You might get your Tessa privileges revoked... (awesome, I remembered how to spell privileges without spellcheck!)
:D
I wanna go to the cat cafe!!! Sooo many cute ones!
ReplyDeleteannddd YEAH! Ginger cats are cool, Lenny (Aprils cat) is the best!
<3
The cat cafe looked interesting, BUT I would not like to go there!!!! I love your picture of the reaction you had to the kids coming towards you LOL. Do you have any money left?????
ReplyDeleteoh. my. god.
ReplyDeleteI want to book a plane to tokyo JUST for this cafe.
awesome.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wanna go to a cat cafe. I've heard this one not far from me in Kyoto, but yeah...expensive. When I'm really needing a kitty fix, definitely!!
It's too bad you have such a phobia of kids, lol. I think Japanese ones are particularly adorable! There is a playground near our dorm, it's always fun to ride by it and see what cuteness is going on. 持ち帰りたいな~^^
